As some of you might already know, I watched the entire series of The Good Wife in a really short period of time and I’m not even sorry. Sure, everything in terms of the plot is now a bit chaotic in my head but I figured that since I spent around 60 hours watching it, I should at least find the time and the means to put down some coherent thoughts. Besides, I really like The Good Wife and therefore I want to share my enthusiasm!
Last time I did an intro appreciation was last year (so far there have only been two: Homeland and The Walking Dead) so it was about time I brought back this visual feature; and upon seeing the newest Netflix original series Hemlock Grove, I couldn’t pass the opportunity to share its opening credits. Though I’ve only seen couple of episodes, I already see the connections with the story lines and the overall choice of the colors such as red and blue. Am I in love with the series itself is still to be determined but I’m certainly in awe with its intro!

I would be ignoring the obvious if I wouldn’t mention the fact that April was not a good month. In general, everything just seemed so blah and when I decided to have The Good Wife marathon from season 1 to season 4, I just completely shut off everything else. Now, hopefully I will get back my groove and since I’m definitely going to go cinema-crazy this month (Star Trek, The Place Beyond the Pines, Iron Man 3), the possibility of motivation hitting me in the face this month is very likely.

Three years ago today I wrote my first words that would represent the beginning for this blog:
Hi, my name is Mettel Ray and I’m an [movie] addict.

This review contains spoilers and it will most definitely offend those dedicated Meyer fans. So if you like Meyer, keep away because I didn’t hold back what so ever.
Oh the joy of watching a bad movie that brings back all the motivation I had lost for weeks because it is so cheesy that it screams to be written about. I’ll just take a moment to enjoy this warm feeling. Oh yeah, yeah, I feel it, yes, mmm that’s good! Where was I? Oh yes, before I gather my negative thoughts about The Host, there are a lot, I do confess that I’m glad that it was as idiotic as it was because it reminded me that I love writing about movies… especially those I don’t like.
With my vast knowledge of John Green through his YouTube channel VlogBrothers, which he runs together with his brother, I was 100% certain I was going to like The Fault in Our Stars. My assumptions were not misleading – the book was exactly what it promised to be – funny, sad, hilarious and a-cry-fest! I’m not sure about you, but I consider the book to be amazing when it manages to make you cry through the tears caused by the tragedy of the story.
