Fictional Friday: My Monthly TBR Challenge

In my haste last week, I completely forgot to properly introduce this new feature on my blog, so here we go:

Introducing, first of many, my very own feature on Mettel Ray called Fictional Friday! It’s a literature post series dedicated to everything book related, may it be wrap ups, reviews, Top 10 lists, you name it! Everything remotely related to literature is making the cut and it’s going to be posted once a week, on a Friday of course! For my second post for Fictional Friday, I want to share my Monthly TBR Challenge for 2018 that is meant to guide me through each month in terms of picking books and reading outside my comfort zone.

Fictional Friday: The Best & The Worst Books of 2017

For all my literature followers, here are two most important lists of the previous year – my favourite books I read in 2017 and the worst books I read. Not a very big variety of books to choose from, even though I read 70 books but most my choices were young adult and romance novels. Hopefully I manage to turn things around for July, even though the first book I picked up for July is a honker of a thousand plus pages (1376 pages to be exact), which I hope to finish soon. But who cares about July when I haven’t even talked about June yet, so here we go.

Reading Wrap Up: May

Here we are, almost at the midpoint of 2017, and I’m enjoying reading just as much as I did at the beginning of the year. Not to jinx it, but I’ve successfully avoided reading slumps and I’m ahead of my challenge which means I can now pick up heavier books. That being said, I do love an occasional adult romance novel these days, so there will be few of them mentioned here and in the future. Also, for this month I wanted to shake things up a bit and I added visuals to my post. It took me ages! Like, honestly, it took me less time to actually write the reviews than to pick the images to accompany each book! That being said, here is my newly refreshed reading wrap up of all the books I read in May.
