Five Movies I Recently Watched But Never Reviewed

Here it is, my shameful post where I combine multiple reviews into one because I’m so behind with writing reviews that the following movies aren’t even relevant anymore. Like, all of these movies here are pretty much forgotten, and that includes all those thoughts I had about them that I could have mentioned in my reviews. But now though, for the purpose of this post, with that very redundant title, I will try to remember at least a few things for their mini-reviews.

Commercial Break #67

cb67This week is going to be a lot better than the last one. Why? Because I got to go to the film quiz thingie today (we were dumb and all the questions I got right were about movies from the 21st century), I only have to work two days this week, I’m getting a new tattoo on Saturday AND I have the joy of getting a year older to “enjoy” on Sunday. Granted, the birthday part isn’t as good because once you get past a certain point in your adult life, you start to resent your birthday a little. I’m past that point. So I don’t even have plans for Sunday, which I guess is a little sad but I’m just going to wake up and see what the day will bring!

An Essay: Year 2016 Told Through Movies

year-2016We start off the year with an Oscar race that has our hearts beating erratically because this might be Leonardo DiCaprio’s year, and it was. He won, he got that Oscar, he held that Oscar, he took that Oscar with him to show off to his supermodels and polish on his yacht while the sun cast golden streaks of light onto Leo’s face. But as soon as the blockbuster movies started to roll in, as soon as the superheros began to gather, Leo was slowly forgotten.
