Well.. this is going to be a hell of a month for me when it comes to Thursday Movie Picks because I will be outside my comfort zone the entire time. In other words, I’m not that good with horror related movies, and when I say not that good, I mean I suck at watching them. So there’s no surprise there when I say that I’ve seen only a few, which makes this month a very tight squeeze, and this week’s theme of “masks” is not the best fit either.

Past few weeks have been quiet here on Mettel Ray because I’ve been feeling a bit off lately. It’s nothing serious, no health related things, just an off month it seems. But that being said, I’ll try to put as much effort in to at least posting Thursday Movie Picks each week, and then Commercial Breaks as well if I have time to sit down properly. Well another month has passed and I’m still on track with my reading challenge. It may seem like a weird thing to say, considering I had a month off from work this past July, but it was a surprise to me. Partly because I didn’t feel like reading at the beginning of summer, and then I decided to pick up a massive book. Luckily, everything worked out well, and I actually managed to finish four books, and start the fifth before the month ended.

Part of me feels I wasted two whole weeks of vacation on nothing. I didn’t write any reviews, I didn’t finish reading Stephen King’s It, and I watched mostly shitty movies and binge watched one show. As you can see, I had no grand adventures nor trips during the past two weeks, and now that I’m on sick leave, I doubt I’ll manage to climb any hills any time soon. But if my hills are reviews, then I might manage to tackle a few of them this upcoming week.
