Fictional Friday: 70 Books I Read in 2017

Here comes one of the most important posts of the year, the reading wrap up of the entire year! 2017 for me was pretty great, considering I read 70 books and so many of those books were actually pretty darn good. I did have a few misses but not the worst year, considering I DNF’d only two books, one less than last year. There are a lot of YA romance novels and romance novels in this list because I was pushing myself to finish my reading challenge with easy reads all year. CB: No Time to Hardcore Fangirl

You might be wondering where I have been, since I skipped another Commercial Break last week. Well, I have been working, and working a bit more and then done some working again which leaves me close to no free time for myself. A lot of my time is planned, most of my free time I spend on reading to finish my challenge and if I didn’t count today, I haven’t even been able to watch anything. It’s sad really but December is shaping up to be a pretty slow month.

Reading Wrap Up: May

Here we are, almost at the midpoint of 2017, and I’m enjoying reading just as much as I did at the beginning of the year. Not to jinx it, but I’ve successfully avoided reading slumps and I’m ahead of my challenge which means I can now pick up heavier books. That being said, I do love an occasional adult romance novel these days, so there will be few of them mentioned here and in the future. Also, for this month I wanted to shake things up a bit and I added visuals to my post. It took me ages! Like, honestly, it took me less time to actually write the reviews than to pick the images to accompany each book! That being said, here is my newly refreshed reading wrap up of all the books I read in May.

December Reading Wrap Up

november wrap upIn the beginning of December I finished my reading challenge – I had read 50 books and there was still a month left. So I read more, surpassing my challenge with four books, and proving to myself that if I set my mind to it, I could spend hours and hours reading books! Here are the books I spent many hours with, because a few of them are what one would call – big books!
