I’m going to start by admitting that this is not the first time I’m sitting down to write my review of Wind River. It’s the third time, and technically the fourth, since the first time I tried, I didn’t actually get past the title. The heaviness of the film, the impact it had, it still weighs on my heart, and to express myself through these feelings is much harder than I anticipated. Here are my thoughts, scrambled and incoherent, about one of the more emotionally heavier films of 2017.

Last week was yet again eventful, worked a lot and then took the time off to just forget life. In other words, on Saturday I got drunk and went to a club with coworkers, which was fun but I’m done with clubs for a while now. Not because I feel too old there (which I kinda do) but also because recovering from hangovers is not as easy as it used to be. It took me a whole Sunday and half of Monday to get back on track, which is why this CB is being posted on a Tuesday!

Imagine my surprise when I walked out of The Accountant and I had only positive things circling my mind!? Because despite the promising trailer, and the premise, I was so certain the movie was going to step into the well known action thriller hole of clichés.
