We all know that feeling of loving something to bits! We would think about that feeling, and those things or people would be constantly on our minds. We would wake up in the morning, and wonder when said object or subject of our love would be in our arms. We would feel empty without them, we would feel incomplete without it. I know that I have loved not only things but people with such capacity, but I also know that life sometimes sucks and things become shit. But the title “When Love Turns Shit” didn’t really have that ring to it, so “rotten” it is and here is the first victim of said phenomena: Shameless US.
Ever since I’ve been following Maria over at Big City Bookworm, I’ve been amazed at her skill to participate in multiple tag posts a week. I mean, I can hardly keep track of one (Thursday Movie Picks) let alone two/three per week! Anyway, Maria is awesome, which is one of the points I wanted to make, the other is that ever since I started reading her Top 10 Tuesdays, weekly tag created by The Broke and the Bookish, I’ve wanted to participate but I never really jumped for it… until today! Who knows if I’ll post for Top 10 Tuesday every week but I’ll try my best, especially since I’m clearly not writing any reviews lately.
Oh. My. God.
Let us take a moment and appreciate that we have the possibility to enjoy this handsome man above. This man, in case the title wasn’t obvious enough, is Jeffrey Dean Morgan and he is amazing! Not only is he appealing for the eye but he is also talented. Though I sometimes forget to focus on his acting, and get lost in his ruggedness instead…
It was spring and now, winter is coming! It is almost symbolic considering the fact that Game of Thrones starts next month and like so many others, I’m pretty darn excited! Though it’s been mostly about books lately, I did also manage to catch up with all my favorite shows, including Shameless which keeps disappointing me. Then again, nothing’s more disappointing than this awful weather we have outside.
I’m interrupting the 2014 In Retrospect to empty my brain, which I should do on a regular basis because my brain doesn’t hold much space for things anymore. This is also a great cover up for the actual, more important problem which is the fact that I’ve yet to put together a 2014 Top 10 Best Movies list because I’m 98,9% certain Birdman needs to be on that list!
