My Top 9 Academy Awards Best Picture nominations

I’m going to quote IMDb and say: “The big day is finally here!” but I don’t really care for all that buzz that’s going on. Firstly because it’s going to be pretty late (for me) when the show is on and I have never watched it live. Secondly, I can never say which actor deserves it better and which movie is worth more – I think you could say that I haven’t developed my award-sensitive nose yet. Despite all of that, I’m still going to list ALL nine Best Picture nominations in my Top 9 – some of it is based on ratings, but most of it highly based on my own subjective taste and opinions.

Silver Linings Playbook (2012)

The moment I thought was going to happen took place after I finished watching Silver Linings Playbook. It was almost as if planned, it happened and I was most certain that it would because I had seen The Words just little while back. It had little to do with the award feedback but it could have slightly been influenced by it but I don’t actually care. The moment when I suddenly started to like an actor that I didn’t tolerate before surfaced as if it was the natural course of action, the moment of me liking Bradley Cooper has taken place and I couldn’t be happier about it. Because there’s no shame in liking a man who I thought to be an one trick pony bring to the screen a complicated character with all his subtle nuances and dynamic emotions.

TOP 10 SPECIAL: Year 2012 highlights – part 1

As you can see, this is the beginning of a set of TOP 10’s that will appear until a new year will come along (today, tomorrow, 28th, 31st and January 1st) and everything starts all over again. To say at least, I’m very excited to end off this year and also welcome new beginnings: 2012 has been extremely amazing! To celebrate this occasion I decided to put together five lists of things that I missed, I loved, I loved some more, I reviewed and I managed to achieve with this blog. Are you excited? I am! So let’s begin and take this blog from 2012 to 2013 with a solid TOP 10 bang!

Silver Linings Playbook (Trailer)

I have been quite lazy with posting trailer posts because I have been lazy at watching them. Honestly, I have spent most of my days going through a White Collar marathon and the rest of today I was trying to detox from it. Can’t wait for season 4! There would be a lot of other things I would like to talk about but I am certain that it would make it a rather unfocused post and I do not appreciate those – would you?
