Fictional Friday: 70 Books I Read in 2017

Here comes one of the most important posts of the year, the reading wrap up of the entire year! 2017 for me was pretty great, considering I read 70 books and so many of those books were actually pretty darn good. I did have a few misses but not the worst year, considering I DNF’d only two books, one less than last year. There are a lot of YA romance novels and romance novels in this list because I was pushing myself to finish my reading challenge with easy reads all year. But without any further ado, find out which books I loved, which ones I didn’t and which I felt neutral about!

Reading Wrap Up: March

After a slow start to the month, I found some magical reading energy and powered through quite a few young adult romance novels by the end of March. It’s still quite sad to look at my reading list this year so far because there are clearly some strong reading slumps that I’ve avoided with easy reads. While there’s nothing wrong with easy-reads, I feel like I need to grab for heavier books and topics, and I need to finish a lot of unfinished series! Plus, even though I’ve never managed to actually stick with a TBR list, I should give it a go in April… I should, and I know could.. but would I!? Probably not.

Commercial Break #70

This week will be a holiday compared to the last few weeks. Even though I have some things that are ruining my chill-vibes, that I will mention soon, most of the week is rather blissful and I’m hoping to get a lot of writing and reading done. So this Commercial Break is hopefully just the start to a very eventful week! Also want to post a few reviews in the upcoming weeks if I get them written – I should get them written, in theory but it’s Monday and I’m already behind with my schedule.

Warning, this week’s Commercial Break will include crazy rants about this week, some as crazy but more enthusiastic rants about a movie I saw last week, and if you make it past that point, I will also go crazy over a few other things that I have been watching recently. Plus, I will try to end the post with an insane list of awesome links to awesome bloggers like I usually do – so actually this Commercial Break is exactly like all of the other ones before it except this one has the pleasure to be number 69.

Reading Wrap Up: January & February

Well, 2017 has gotten the best of me. Just two months into the year and I’ve already fallen behind with my reading wrap ups. BUT, I do have a legitimate reason for this little combined wrap up .. I wanted to revamp these posts but realised I didn’t have the time to do so, and by the time I realised I should have posted my January reading wrap up, it was mid-February and it made more sense to combine these first two months. Also, heads up, it’s heavy with adult romance novels because I’ve had a rough couple of months and easy, breezy and sexy was all I wanted to read.
