Thursday Movie Picks: Break into Song Scenes (Non-Musicals)

I was surprised this week’s Thursday Movie Picks for me ended up being about romance again, because all my picks are from romantic movies. Maybe because they are the only non-musical movies that somehow work with random musical scenes? I don’t know, but all these scenes popped into my head, and the movies they are from are pretty good too!

This week’s topic screamed for a theme within a theme and I’m here to deliver. Since I posted the review of my favourite film of last year, Call Me By Your Name yesterday, I thought this week’s Thursday Movie Picks screamed for M+M romance! So here are three (+ a bonus) movies I think are heart breaking, and which feature gay themes.

Thursday Movie Picks Television Edition: Book to Movie Adaptations

First Television Edition of the year and I’m so excited! It was a bit difficult to pick four because I also wanted to have the knowledge of at least one or more books under my belt! Luckily I have read exactly enough to share four teen shows, because I’m feeling very youthful at the moment. Not going to lie, this week I had to Google my way through picking movies for this theme. In other words, I looked at the list of Sundance winners, and picked movies that I have seen and liked, that won an award at the Film Festival. And with the help of that list, I get to recommend four pretty good movies!

Thursday Movie Picks: Once Was Enough (Movies You Don’t Want to Watch Again)

To make this week a little easier for myself, I went with a theme within a theme again, and decided to pick movies from 2017 only. Last year was a pretty good movie year for me but there were still disappointments here and there (you can see my list of worst movies of 2017 here), but in this list, I’ll be sharing another four 2017 films I don’t want to watch again simply because… I just don’t care.
