Those, who have wondered over to this part of the Internet, and have stumbled onto my review should know that I have a fascination towards serial killers. Shows such as Criminal Minds, CSI and Mindhunter are exactly the kind of shows that feed my curiosity, Zodiac and Se7en being among my favourite films. But none of those have achieved quite that level of emotional confusion which Manhunt: Unabomber managed to deliver.

Before watching Ozark, I thought Mindhunter was definitely going to win my number one spot for best Netflix show of the year. Granted, there are still many promising first place contenders coming up (Stranger Things 2, The Punisher), but I didn’t expect Ozark to push Mindhunter of its pedestal so quickly. Should have seen it coming though, since I’ve always had a soft spot for Jason Bateman, and his character Martin Byrde is especially intriguing.

It has been ages since I was thrilled about a TV show and dedicated a full post to it and now I have two I want to talk about – The OA and Santa Clarita Diet. Both are Netflix shows, I saw both ages ago, both have just 10 episodes in their first season and both are weird and quirky in their own special way. One has more unknown names and the other has bigger stars but both have teenage characters who are likeable and precious on their own right. But before I get to the very long and complicated journey of trying to understand The OA, here is my spoiler free take on Santa Clarita Diet.

With the arrival of fall, where the leaves are changing color and the only place comfortable enough seems to be inside a snug blanket with a cup of coffee, there is a desire to be treated by a great visual experience. I’m talking about finding that specific movie or a show that captures you, takes you on an interesting journey and leaves you wondering about life, relationships and love. On a particular fall evening, cold and rainy, I was lucky enough to experience something that special, within an hour I was hooked and confident enough to state that my newcomer fall favorite this year is The Affair.

As season 4 wrapped itself last Sunday, I figured I’d put together a list of 10 things I enjoyed or disliked about Game of Thrones throughout this season. Though, I guess I should have known that with a show like this, setting yourself a limited goal of things to mention is pretty much torture. Turns out I didn’t think this through. Oh well, luckily, having to wait for this show 9 months out of the year for these past 3 years, has made me partially immune to torture.
