Looking back, I’d like to think that 2016, despite its flaws, had some really great things to offer. There’s no denying that these great things were sometimes overshadowed by the turmoil of life, but at the same time, these good things made 2016 a lot more tolerable in the long run. But before I get to my favourite books and best movies of 2016, I want to look back at some of the songs and TV shows that made me happy this year.

Thursday Movie Picks: Western

Here is a theme I have not been familiar with… ever. Like, western and me know about each other, but we don’t hang out because let me be honest, I don’t really like this genre. There are a few movies I’ll mention here that are obviously western and that I’ve actually enjoyed. But as a general rule, I don’t seek out westerns in my spare time.

Fall / Winter TV Schedule 16

fallandwinter-16It has become a tradition of sorts to assemble these types of lists every now and then, to have some clarity for the fall/winter and spring/summer TV schedule. This time, I have left things to the last minute and instead of predictions, I have already an idea what I will keep watching, what won’t make the cut, what I still might try out and what shows from the past are still relevant.
