Reading Wrap Up: May

Here we are, almost at the midpoint of 2017, and I’m enjoying reading just as much as I did at the beginning of the year. Not to jinx it, but I’ve successfully avoided reading slumps and I’m ahead of my challenge which means I can now pick up heavier books. That being said, I do love an occasional adult romance novel these days, so there will be few of them mentioned here and in the future. Also, for this month I wanted to shake things up a bit and I added visuals to my post. It took me ages! Like, honestly, it took me less time to actually write the reviews than to pick the images to accompany each book! That being said, here is my newly refreshed reading wrap up of all the books I read in May.

Reading Wrap Up: January & February

Well, 2017 has gotten the best of me. Just two months into the year and I’ve already fallen behind with my reading wrap ups. BUT, I do have a legitimate reason for this little combined wrap up .. I wanted to revamp these posts but realised I didn’t have the time to do so, and by the time I realised I should have posted my January reading wrap up, it was mid-February and it made more sense to combine these first two months. Also, heads up, it’s heavy with adult romance novels because I’ve had a rough couple of months and easy, breezy and sexy was all I wanted to read.

Reading Wrap Up: November

In the month of November I met my 2016 reading challenge – I’ve read 60 books, and by now I’ve hit 64 books. Only 2 of the books I’ve added into my reading challenge this year have been DNF’s (Did Not Finish), which I think is pretty good. Come to think of it, I rarely put books down, but when I do, I have many reasons to do so. But that being said, here are the books I read in the month of November, including one DNF, because I couldn’t be bothered to waste more time on it.

Reading Wrap Up: October

Little late with this wrap up but hey, better late than never. So anyway, this month I improved from last month… a bit. The beginning was promising and then I was in a slump for a week and a half. By the end though, I read five books and mostly because at the end of the month I picked up two very light LGBT books.

Reading Wrap Up: September

Three is the smallest number of books I’ve read in a month this year. I’ve read four books, and thought myself successful because one of those books was massive, but September was not a successful month. Somewhere in the middle I just stopped reading, and when I picked up a book in the beginning of this week, I didn’t understand why I had stopped! I finished two books this week and started a third one, so yes, most of this list happened during this week.
